Creativity makes my heart soar and my soul sing!

Have you arrived at that point in life where you realize you can shine, inside and out, whenever you please? Just because you want to? Simply because you can. And most importantly, because you are the boss of you? Some days, your shine might be just the tiniest hint of a smile. Some days you might glow like an incandescent sun.

In the 1950s, women used to buy a tube of bright red lipstick to cheer themselves up. By the end of the century, it was silver earrings. Lots and lots of shiny silver earrings. And one day, finally, we realized that we like to shine on the inside even more than we do on the outside.

Likely, for most of us, that was a ridiculously long-fought battle. And while it is true that we don’t really experience light without dark, the dark sucks. You know you’ve risen above the fray when you understand that really, it is just as easy to shine. That life feels much better, both inside and out, when we decide to shine. And that we get to choose when and where we shine.

Hi, I’m Sharon.  Making jewelry for myself and for other women who like to shine, is the best therapy ever. The process of sawing a smooth piece of silver is a Zen experience in and of itself. Using fire to melt silver from a solid to a liquid feels powerful – much like a Phoenix rising from the ashes. Certainly a triumph of mind over matter. Learning about gemstones, their metaphysical characteristics, healing properties, and mythology is fascinating. And hammering metal… well, need we say more?

As a recovering perfectionist, a great deal of thought and care is put into Silver Echoes designs. High-quality materials are used during every step of the process. Needless to say, every detail is checked, double-checked, and then checked once again. Just for good measure. Recovering… not recovered.

I am so very grateful for my creativity and the wonderful gemstones and metals that fill my workspace. Each piece of jewelry is infused with love and light before it is packaged up and sent off to its new home. Each piece is offered to all who aspire to shine, as a beacon of light. After all, anything I can do to help you shine is a gift to us both.

So, shine as only you can.

“We all shine on… like the moon and the stars and the sun.”
